A machine (human being) capable of manufacturing a new one (off springs) using inbuilt plant is an awesome way to keep building new machines without investing on setting up of a manufacturing plant. Machines producing new ones at the same time think they are serving themselves yet they are a reason of continuous manufacturing without employment of separate dedicated resources. The basic issue in technology built by human beings is that they have to do a huge investment on employment  of defecated resources for building new machines; yet the process holds an advantage of producing machines that have essentially similar capabilities as already created ones. This way human beings are able to save time for machines that they themselves waste in growing up and in learning process. If one species have control over the planet earth that is human beings; they are the managers of this planet, at least they think like this. They think they are the only species which can think on its own and to some extent they are rightful in thinking so. Let us place them on dissection table. Remove their brain and what is left behind is a heap of cells of different kind which are unable to act on their own. Though every cell in this heap is alive and is capable to do many things yet they are so dependent on the instructions coming from brain that they will die waiting for command but will not try to do anything for survival. Human beings are intelligent machines, they fuel themselves, they repair themselves and they continue the job they are assigned. You believe it or not, all human beings are interconnected. They are not aware of this phenomenon yet some of them experience it during their lifespans. Human beings though think they are working for themselves according to their own needs yet they are not and one or the other way they are working for the whole on the bases of the interconnections. Look around, you are surrounded by man made objects called machines. Amazingly enough you may find multiple machines for performance of essentially the same job, for example, you may find a fan hanging with roof or mounted with wall and an air cooler an air conditioner and all these machines are used for dealing with hot weather.
